About Logical Venues

Logical Venues started as a newsletter for people who take going out seriously. Not the party crowd — the people who care about the space, the sound, the view, the drink in their hand.

We cover rooftop bars, venue design, nightlife culture, and the cities that do it best. Bangkok is our home base and our obsession, but we write about anywhere a great venue makes a night worth remembering.

Our writing is specific. We care about the difference between a venue that photographs well and one that actually feels right at 11 PM on a Thursday. We notice the lighting, the materials, the sightlines, the way a room sounds when it's half full versus packed. These details are what separate a place you visit once from a place you return to.

Every article is written by people who spend their evenings in the places they write about. No press releases, no sponsored content, no venues we haven't sat in ourselves. If we recommend a bar, it's because we've been there, ordered a drink, watched the sunset, and decided it was worth telling you about.
